Split Second Racing

The Sandy Hookers Triathlon Club (SHTC) started in 1989 as a grass roots group of athletes looking for local training partners and events. The club grew as more athletes looked towards the challenge of a triathlon. The SHTC began to stage events as a way to compete and introduce new people to the sport. This year we will see over 6000 athletes cross the finish line at Sandy Hookers/Split Second events!

Through our relationship with Race Forum, the area’s premier listing of triathlons, duathlons, running races, swim events and more, we will increase our sponsors’ exposure with featured ads and premier placement on the RaceForum.com website. Each issue of Race Forum is read or viewed by over 75,000 athletes in the metropolitan area. As a sponsor, your company will be introduced to local athletes and their families via Race Forum media, logos on race shirts, race day exposure via banners, race day bags and more.

As Sandy Hookers Triathlon Club and Split Second Racing believe in the community in which we operate, we offer a competitive but accessible level of sponsorship in the hopes to share in a positive experience for all.

We believe future of our community begins with our youth. In addition to the charitable organizations we support, we donate to three or four area groups per race, such as: Long Branch Soccer, Rumson Hockey, Long Branch Wrestling, Boy Scout Troop 80, Central Jersey Hawks, Colts Neck High School Swim Team, Henry Hudson High School Cross Country, Howell Swim Team, Long Branch Cheerleaders, Long Branch Dance Team, Long Branch Lacrosse, Long Branch Field Hockey, Manasquan Cheering, OLSA Soccer, Second Life Bikes, Team in Training, Wave Lacrosse.
